1. Overview
We ship certified lab-grown and natural diamonds directly to you from the Cape Winelands, South Africa. Every order is carefully packaged in DDWinelands branded packaging and dispatched via insured courier. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.
2. Processing Time
All orders are subject to a processing period before dispatch. Processing includes order verification, payment confirmation, and packaging preparation.
- Standard processing: 1–3 business days from the date of order confirmation.
- Custom or engraved orders: 5–10 business days, depending on the nature of the customisation.
Processing times do not include weekends or South African public holidays. You will receive an email notification with your tracking number once your order has been dispatched.
3. Shipping Zones and Rates
3.1 South Africa

Deliveries within South Africa are made by insured courier to your specified delivery address. We currently deliver to all major urban and suburban areas. Remote or rural areas may require additional time.

All international shipments are fully insured for the declared value of the goods. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on customs clearance, public holidays, and courier capacity.
4. Insurance and Declared Value
Every shipment is insured for the full purchase value of the diamond(s) contained within. In the unlikely event of loss or damage in transit, please contact us immediately at info@ddwinelands.com so we can initiate a claim with our courier partner on your behalf.
5. Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and handling fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are entirely outside our control and are the sole responsibility of the customer. We are unable to predict the amount of these charges, as they vary by country and declared value.
DDWinelands ships all international orders as retail consumer purchases and declares the full purchase value on all customs documentation. We do not under-declare values or mark shipments as gifts to circumvent customs requirements.
6. Signature on Delivery
All DDWinelands shipments require a signature on delivery due to the high value of the goods. Please ensure someone is available to receive your order at the delivery address you provide. If no one is available, our courier will attempt redelivery or leave instructions for collection from a designated facility.
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery and receipt of the shipment at your specified address.
7. Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number by email. You can use this number to track your shipment in real time through our courier's tracking portal. If you experience any difficulty tracking your order, please contact us at info@ddwinelands.com.
8. Delivery Address Accuracy
Please ensure that your delivery address is accurate and complete at the time of checkout. DDWinelands is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or loss of goods resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
If you need to change your delivery address after placing an order, contact us immediately at info@ddwinelands.com. Address changes can only be accommodated before your order has been dispatched.
9. Delays
Estimated delivery timeframes are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to circumstances outside our control, including customs processing, public holidays, adverse weather, courier disruptions, or force majeure events. We will communicate any known delays to you as soon as possible.
10. Packaging
All DDWinelands orders are dispatched in our signature branded packaging. Your diamond arrives in a presentation box with all relevant certificates, care documentation, and packaging materials included. The outer shipping box is a plain, unbranded corrugated carton for security purposes.
